Maurice Thames

Maurice Thames is a registered architect with St. Louis-based firm, KAI Design & Build, where he is a project manager. Thames is responsible for the internal and external success of project design, schedule, deliverables, and budgets. Thames has 17 years of experience working in every aspect of design and construction administration. Thames is a graduate of Drury University and holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree.

Why did you join NOMA?

I joined NOMA as an architecture student to experience and promote diversity in the field of design and construction. As a design professional my interest expanded from membership to leadership and mentorship, and I'm committed to seeing a profession that reflects our diverse society. Throughout the years, I have attended several NOMA conferences and have gained a greater insight and appreciation for the organization and its mission to promote the profession.
